Kirstie Allsopp mocked by Channel 4 co-star Phil Spencer over ‘terrifying’ family decision | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer have confirmed that they are back on TV screens this evening with a brand new series of Location, Location, Location. Posting to her Instagram account, Kirstie, 52, shared some major news with her fans.

In the video clip, speaking to the Phil, 54, Kirstie said: “We’ve got a big piece of news, haven’t we?” He responded: “Seeing as we are live, it’s quite relevant because it’s about tonight.”

The Love It or List It presenter shared the big news, as she said: “Tonight Location, Location, Location is back on the TV on Channel 4.” Phil added: “Eight o’clock and it’s a brand new series.”

The co-hosts explained that they had been in Scotland filming a new episode of the show, but the one that will be airing this evening (May 8) will be set in Sussex. Kirstie added: “It’s rather suitable that we’re together on the day of a new series.”

Phil asked her if she was going to watch it, to which she replied: “Yeah, of course. If we finish work on time, which we might not, the way we’re going.”

They got lost in a tangent as a can of Coke blew in the wind, and Kirstie had a little rant about it. She then continued: “Anyway, show on tonight, and another big piece of news for me.”

Phil laughed as he said: “Kirstie’s going to Glastonbury.” He cackled in the background as she explained: “Yes, I am going to Glastonbury.

“My son wanted to go to Glastonbury and he asked if he could go for his 18th birthday and I have managed to get us some tickets.”

The mum-of-two admitted that she has never been to the music festival and was “absolutely terrified” at the prospect.

She said: “I’m terrified and all the crew are mocking me and they’re saying ‘oh my God, it’s going to be camping with Kirstie’. But, I’m going to do it and I’m sure I’m going to absoutely love it, but I need your tips and hints.”

They ended the video with a final reminder about tuning in to Channel 4 at 8pm. They then both showed their technophobe sides as they struggled to end the recording.

Kirstie shared the lengthy clip to her Instagram account, as she captioned it: “Two big pieces of news, firstly @c4locationsofficial is back on @channel4 tonight at 8pm, and secondly I’m going to #Glastonbury. I am thrilled & terrified in equal measure.”

Location, Location, Location airs tonight on Channel 4 at 8pm.
