Our Yorkshire Farm’s Amanda Owen shares rare post after son lands new TV role | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Amanda Owen has given her fans an insight into her private life with her son on Ravenseat Farm in the Yorkshire Dales. The Our Yorkshire Farm star shared that her son Reuben has taken on a new role on the farm.

The first photo shows a selfie of Amanda and Reuben, with her son smiling and giving a thumbs up. The second selfie shows Amanda flashing a smile as he pulls a funny face and shows a fisted hand gesture.

She added the caption: “So proud of big lad @reubenowen74. He’s a star.” Many of her 532,000 followers flooded the comments section with words of approval over Reuben’s new role.

One person praised: “Lovely to see 3 young people working hard and having fun at the same time – so entertaining. Well done Rheuben.”

A second chimed in: “well done Ruben we have a son just full of enthusiasm like you and you set a high bar. We a family farm in Lincolnshire.”

A third typed: “Absolutely love this show. They are cracking role models for young people to show how hard work and determination will get you to your goals. A very bright future lies ahead for the 3 of them and thanks for sharing the journey with us all.”

A fourth person penned: “Agree with you 100 percent Amanda he is a star. Hes grown into an amazing young man and I really enjoyed the new show. Still hoping to see you all back on screen together one day.”

Last year, Amanda announced to her fans that she would be closing her farm to members of the public and then didn’t post any social media content for months. She then returned at the end of September.

The reasons behind the closure of Ravenseat farm are still relatively unknown. She also revealed that her marriage to former husband Clive had ended after 21 years last year.

At the time, she said in a statement: “Clive and I are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate.” Amanda is the proud mother of nine children: Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clementine and Nancy.

Our Yorkshire Farm can be streamed on My5 Live.
