The Apprentice star Karren Brady’s daughter Sophia Peschisolido has announced the birth of her first child, a son. The 27-year-old shared the news of the family’s latest arrival on Instagram to her 338,000 followers.

She posted an adorable black and white picture of the tot, whose name has yet to be announced, wearing a onesie with “Welcome to the world” written on the front. Alongside it, she wrote: “Our son, never known a love like this 28/03/24.”

She shared the news on Easter Sunday, three days after the child was born. A second stylish black and white image showed her partner Frankie Makin wheeling him down a hospital corridor in a pram. The post already has nearly 4,000 likes with followers, including Lottie Tomlinson, offering their congratulations to the new mum.

She later issued a further update to fans on her Instagram story saying: “Not been on my phone for ages but thanks so much to everyone who’s messaged me. We are both doing good. Been in the newborn bubble.”

Sophia announced her pregnancy in November last year telling her followers at the time: “Our greatest blessing due 2024.” She accompanied the announcement with a video, where she and fiancé Frankie held each other as he cradled her growing baby bump.

Sophia, who works as an influencer and model, is the eldest of Karren’s two children, which she shares with her husband Paul Peschisolido, 52.

The couple, who tied the knot in 1995 and have been together for over 30 years, also have a son, Paolo Peschisolido, who is 25. This is their first grandchild but Karren has yet to make a public statement about her new family member.

Karren has previously spoken out about the longevity of her union with Paul, 52, a former professional footballer.

She has stated that “jealousy” has never come between them throughout the decades.

In an interview with The Sun she confessed that the key to their success has been no “aggravation” in their marriage.

Karren who was given the title of Baroness back in 2014, also credited Paul as being her best friend.

She told the publication: “We’ve always been there for each other and supported one another. There’s never been any jealousy or one-upmanship or anything like that.

“What we have in common is the complete love for both of our children, and their health and wellbeing is at the centre of everything we do.”
